Funerals

A respectful and personal farewell
A funeral ceremony is an opportunity to reflect on a life and to bring people together to remember. I work closely with you to create something thoughtful, personal, and appropriate to the person you are honouring.
There’s no fixed format. Some families prefer something simple and understated, others want to include more detail and shared memories. I shape the ceremony with you so it feels right for the occasion.
What This Can Include
- A reflection on the person’s life and character
- Personal stories and shared memories
- Readings, music, or moments of reflection
Everything is shaped around what feels appropriate for the person and for those attending. I only include what genuinely adds meaning and respects the tone you want to set.
How it works
1. Initial conversation
We start with a calm and straightforward conversation about what is needed.
2. Getting to know you
I take the time to understand the person’s life, character, and what should be reflected.
3. Shaping the ceremony
I write and refine the ceremony with you, keeping it clear, respectful, and personal.
4. The day itself
I deliver the ceremony with care and clarity, creating space for reflection.
