We first met Alan in person and then had several phone calls where he really took the time to get to know us properly. He asked thoughtful questions about our relationship, how we met, and what makes us work as a partnership. It never felt rushed. It felt like he genuinely wanted to understand our story so he could tell it in the most meaningful way.

One thing we particularly appreciated was that Alan met with us separately as well, which allowed him to understand how we each feel about one another. This made the ceremony feel incredibly personal and authentic. He also helped guide us through writing our vows, making sure they flowed well together while still reflecting our individual personalities.

The day before the wedding he met with us again to go through the final touches and practise the ceremony, even showing us where to stand and how everything would work on the day. That preparation made such a difference and helped us feel calm and confident.

Throughout the whole process we felt truly listened to and supported. Alan made everything feel easy, natural and special. On the day itself the ceremony was perfect, personal, heartfelt and full of warmth.

He played such a big part in making our wedding day something we will never forget, and we’re so grateful for everything he did for us. We couldn’t recommend him more highly.
